Education opens doors, sustains our economy, and creates opportunities for our entire community. That has been true in my own life and the lives of the numerous students I have taught and mentored. I am running for the Palomar Community College District because I want to make sure everyone in our community has access to a high-quality, affordable education here in North County. About Michelle
My career has focused on cybersecurity and national defense. I hold a Master of Science in Management Information Systems, a Master of Legal Studies in Technology Law, and a Doctorate in Public Policy Administration. For over two decades, I worked as a Senior Analyst with the United States Marine Corp, helping protect our military from cyberattacks. I later decided to share my experience with the next generation, becoming a Professor at the University of San Diego and the Academic Director of the Graduate Cyber Security Operations and Leadership Program.
Michelle's Priorities
As your Palomar Community College District Trustee, I will focus on expanding career education, strengthening transfer pathways, and ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent responsibly. I will get politics out of the board room and lecture halls and focus on what really matters—student success. Our community colleges play a vital role in preparing students for high-demand careers and four-year universities, and they deserve experienced, thoughtful leadership.

Trustee Area 5
The Palomar Community College District covers most of North County, everything from West Oceanside to the far east deserts. For the purposes of board elections, the district is broken up into five trustee areas.
Trustee Area 5 includes the communities of North San Marcos, North Escondido, Hidden Meadows, Valley Center, Bonsall, Fallbrook, and Rainbow.
